Process for 2020 Internship Opportunities
EY will be making some changes to our process this spring – rather than having students apply for a leadership program, students will be able to apply directly for an internship. Initially, the leadership program was designed to introduce the available service lines to candidates and then receive an internship offer. It now has switched to understanding the service lines before applying, applying directly to one of our available service lines, going through the interview process with the specific service line professionals, and receiving an offer. You will still have the opportunity to attend a summer 2019 leadership program in the market/location of your interest. I’ve included some additional information on the process below. Our job postings are up on Handshake now. Each posting includes a job description and includes a link to a video that can help students understand the service lines. The video provides insight into what they would be doing in each of the service lines (assurance, tax and risk advisory) as well as some information on our industries. I’ve included the link below – feel free to share this information with any friends who are interested in a 2020 internship opportunity.
Interview process:
• Complete application for one service line and timeframe (summer or winter, where applicable) by Monday, February 4, 2019 at 11:59pm. In order to be considered, you must fill out the preference link listed in the job description.
• Selected students will then be invited to the 1st assessment, which is a pre-recorded video interview (more information will be sent around best practices for this)
• If approved to move to the 2nd assessment, 2 separate live interviews will be conducted on-campus
During your application process, you are encouraged to review our service line education series website. This information will help you as you make your service line and industry selections. Click the link below and watch the service line videos on Assurance, Tax, Advisory and sector/industry experience.
