Capgemini Summer 2019 - RISE Program

RISE is Capgemini’s new leadership program aimed at giving rising seniors an in-depth look into the field of technology consulting.  This is a high intensity, interactive, 3-day session where students will be exposed to Capgemini resources and design centers.  You will be offered many opportunities to flex your critical-thinking skills against real-life problems, to gain a true understanding of how working in a global technology consulting firm can support your career path, and to meet like-minded students from across the country.  Students will be grouped together and tasked with a “project” to solve which will result in a tangible product that you will then present to a panel of judges.   Successful completion of the program may result in a 2020 Staff Consultant full time offer with Capgemini.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 3.4 GPA along with a major or minor in one of the following:

Chlorox Spring Recruiting

5th Annual Clorox Product Design Competition & Tech Talk

Clorox will be on campus April 2nd & April 3rd to host our 5th Annual Product Design Competition & Tech Talk! This year, teams of 1-4 members will be tasked to come up with a new product innovation, and then present recommendations to a panel of judges. There is no need to prepare in advance! Just bring yourself or a team representing your society and put your skills to the test. Participants will have the chance to win great prizes ($600 Visa Gift Card for the first place team!) and gain exposure with a top consumer products company. The design competition will take place on April 2nd. Each team will be given 45 min to solve a problem and 15 min to present their solution to a panel of Clorox R&D product & process developers. Habitat for Humanity Spring Break Trip

Are you still looking for something fun to do this spring break? Go on a Collegiate Challenge trip and you will gain an experience that will be remembered for a lifetime! Participating in a Collegiate Challenge trip is one of the best ways to get involved with Habitat for Humanity, and is a wonderful way to make a big difference.

For this Spring Break’s Collegiate Challenge trip, you get the choice of going to Thibodaux, LA or Tucker, GA to spend a week working on a house with a group of twelve. The trip will be from March 17th to March 23rd (essentially the entire Spring Break). The trip fee is $300 which covers the cost of registration, meals, transportation, and lodging.
