GradSWE Member Survey
Help GradSWE develop a database of demographic information about our active (and alumni) members by filling out this very brief survey! This information will be primarily used by the funding subcommittee for communicating the benefits of sponsoring GradSWE to corporations.

ENVISION Family Engineering Fair
Tuesday November 29th | 6-7:30PM | Booker T. Washington Elementary School
Volunteer at the ENVISION Family Engineering Fair this Tuesday (final event of the semester) and introduce elementary students and their families to various engineering disciplines through the following activities:
- Stomp rockets
- Arts & crafts (holiday decorations) with circuits
- Fancopters
- Balancing robots
- Wind turbine blade designs
- DNA Extraction and DNA Origami
Consider arriving 20 minutes early (at 6:10PM) to help with set-up the fair. Dinner, hot chocolate, and cookies will be provided! Please sign up here if you plan to attend.

Beer and Cookies

Powerful Lessons Learned from the Annual SWE Conference Lunch
Friday, December 9th | 12-1PM | 143 Mechanical Engineering Building
One of the best perks of being an active GradSWE member is attending the annual SWE National Conference! At this luncheon, you will hear empowering stories and lessons from about the 2016 conference and learn how you can apply to attend the 2017 conference! Topics of discussion from the 2016 conference include becoming a leader in academia, best preparing for change, and becoming an LGBTQA+ ally. This is a brown bag (bring your own) lunch with snacks provided. Please sign up here if you plan to attend.

Roller Derby Home Team Championship
Saturday, December 10th | 7:00-9:30PM | McKinley Aquatic Center
What better way to celebrate strong, powerful women than attending the Twin Cities Home Team Season 2016 championship! Tickets can be bought here for just $10.00 to watch the Damagin' Dames, Boneyard Bombshells, and The Paign duke it out on the skating rink. If you buy a ticket, please fill out this form so we can organize rides and save seats. Feel free to bring signs (and enthusiasm)!
