Women in STEM Barcrawl

Join the Women in STEM Bar Crawl at Brothers, Legends, Kam's, and the Red Lion, hosted by Undergrad SWE. A limited quantity of shirts will be sold out of the SWE office in 110A Engineering Hall for $12. weSTEM 2017 Conference

Join GradSWE at Illinois on  Saturday, January 28th for our flagship initiative - the Women Empowered in STEM (weSTEM) conference. During this annual event, STEM leaders will share expeience and insight from their diverse career paths following a graduate degree. Conference includes panel discussions and breakout sessions to facilitate one-on-one interactions with these accomplished speakers and promote the discussion of topics unique to the graduate student experience.

Non-Traditional Jobs in Academia and Mentoring Lunch
Thursday, November 17th | Noon-1PM | 2005 Mechanical Engineering Laboratory (Deere Pavilion)
Join GradSWE for an engaging talk by Dr. Jenny Amos of the Bioengineering Department! Dr. Amos will share her personal experiences in academia. She has a strong history of mentoring and exploring non-traditional jobs within academia including, but not limited to, fascinating educational research and K-12 outreach. Lunch will be provided. Consider presenting a workshop, serving on a panel, or giving a lecture! Session topics include outreach, diversity & inclusion, technical, professional development, and health & wellness.
