Leadership Opportunity: iFEAT Co-Coordinator

Do you want to become a campus leader in promoting women in academia? Then help coordinate the Illinois Female Engineers in Academia Training (iFEAT) Program! You will help organize speakers for the 2017-2018 program, assist with engineering education research, and meet faculty from all over campus. If you're interested and are graduating in 2019 or later, please submit an application by 5pm on Friday, May 12, 2017.

The 2017 NextProf Fall Engineering Workshop is seeking applications from women and traditionally under-represented groups at U.S. institutions who are senior-level Ph.D. candidates, postdoctoral researchers and early-career scientists and researchers in the field of engineering.The deadline to apply is Friday, June 2, 2017, 5:00PM EST. Rising Stars: An Academic Career Workshop
Deadline: Friday, June 16
Are you interested in a faculty career in EE, CS, or a related field? The 2017 Rising Stars: An Academic Career Workshop for Women, hosted by the EE and CS departments of Stanford University, will be held November 5-7. The purpose of the workshop is to help female senior Ph.D. students and postdocs learn about how to obtain and be successful in faculty positions. The application deadline, including the letter of recommendation, is June 16, 2017. Approximately 60 women will be invited to participate, with travel and lodging expenses paid.
