Women and Wine Woodworking Night
Friday, August 18 | 5PM | Art E Annex, Studio 1 (1208 W Peabody Dr.)
Come to the CU Architecture Woodshop Friday, August 18th to fabricate your own beautiful alcohol dispenser. Your teachers Kayla Peck and Violet Labrosse will teach you how to use standard Tier I woodshop tools, including the miter saw, band saw, table saw, and sander. Afterward, enjoy the fruits of your labor and sip some rosé with fellow GradSWE members! The cost for this event is $30 and space is limited to six participants. Many of our members participate in a variety of outreach projects, in addition to school and research. Please tell us about your engagement in and thoughts on outreach activities through this survey. We'll use this information to see what's important to us, audiences or projects we've neglected, and coordinate our upcoming outreach projects so please thoughtfully complete as many of the questions as you can.

Apply to iFEAT: Illinois Female Engineers in Academia Training
Do you desire to obtain a faculty position upon completing your PhD or postdoc? Are you planning to go on the job market in the next 1-2 years? Then consider getting a head start on drafting your faculty application materials (cover letter, research and teaching statements) by participating in the Illinois Female Engineers in Academia Training (iFEAT) program. The program is open to female STEM graduate students and postdocs. Interested in learning more?
