Bain & Company Recruiting at Illinois

If you are interested in applying to a management consulting firm, such as Bain & Company, several case interviews will be required. 

Bain is offering the chance for many of you to participate in Bain case chains. This includes the opportunity to practice three Bain-style cases, including one with a current employee of Bain & Company. There are limited spots available, so they are requiring a short survey to choose the final group.

Who: Any UIUC student graduating in December 2019 or May 2020 (all other applicants are not eligible to participate)

Venture Capital Association applications are now open on vcaillinois.org, and information night is Thursday, August 30 at 6pm at Transportation 103. 

Venture Capital Association is an undergraduate and graduate student organization that provides advisory services to venture capital firms. 

Their purpose is to provide students interested in venture capital with exposure to the industry through real-world experience. VCA analysts are trained on how to think like an investor, perform analysis, and produce high-quality deliverables through weekly meetings, events with other organizations in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, guest speakers, case competitions, and more.

Each semester they staff projects that allow you to work directly with venture capital firms across the US.

R&D Summer Intern Program at Dow AgroSciences

Dow AgroSciences would like to invite SWE members to apply for their R&D Summer Intern Program.  R&D internships are available in chemistry, biology, and computer science related disciplines, including, but not limited to, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, plant breeding, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, surface chemistry, engineering (chemical, biological, material, or optical) and informatics (bio and chem).  Laboratory-based Research and Development internships are located in Indianapolis, Indiana.  This is a paid internship; salaries are determined by the student’s year in school.  Eligible students will be pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree from a U.S. based college or university with proper U.S. work authorization, or the ability to obtain work authorization through their university.
