Team Tech

Team Tech is a SWE committee that works to show the interdisciplinary cross-section of engineering between collaboration, industry, and education. Every year, SWE receives a corporate sponsor that provides a tech-related project with the end goal of competing with other collegiate SWE sections at a national conference. Team Tech works to cultivate hard and soft skills among a diverse group of engineers.

This Year’s Project:

Sponsor: John Deere - Agricultural Equipment Manufacturer

This year’s Team Tech sponsor is John Deere. John Deere tasked us with creating an application that allows a user to optimize their cost-of-harvest. We do this by developing models/methods/toolchains using analytics, field data, and agri-business resources.
